My boat has been custom designed and built specifically for fly fishing
‘Reel Fly’ is a 6m (20ft) centre console, powered by a 140 Suzuki 4 stroke. There’s safe rod storage on board for multiple fly rods, plenty of space for gear and two uncluttered casting platforms front and rear, allowing two anglers to fish at the same time.
For manoeuvring silently in the shallows, a bow mounted electric motor allows us to get close to spooky fish.
The boat provides a safe and stable platform to fish from on the flats, while at the same time she’s able to handle the open ocean, providing anglers the opportunity to fish for billfish.
Exmouth and Ningaloo is the ultimate saltwater destination
Exmouth Fly Fishing was formed in 2010 by myself, Jono Shales. Since then, I’ve spent thousands of hours exploring and mastering the techniques, tides and best times to fish the area, sharing this with guests from all over the world.
The more time you have to enjoy all of this, the better your chances are of targeting the amazing array of species on offer, while at the same time learning more about saltwater fly fishing.
